Use ShareGate's external sharing management features to protect your organization's private data from accidental third-party exposure.
Create an External sharing review policy and set custom external sharing reviews based on data sensitivity. Then, use ShareGate to collaborate with team and group owners so they can be responsible for reviewing external sharing links and guest access.
Note: When crawling for external shares, ShareGate only searches for content that has been shared outside of its group via an external sharing link. This excludes all users who can access content directly in SharePoint Online. New external shares appear the next time ShareGate crawls your environment. The time it takes for new items to appear depends on several factors, such as the size of your tenant and the number of items with custom permissions.

External sharing review policy
The External sharing review policy lets you define how often external sharing links and guest access are reviewed. Activate the policy, and ShareGate will notify owners when it's time for a review.
Set the start date, review recurrence, and choose your communication method in Policies.

Custom external sharing reviews for sensitivity tags
Create a custom external sharing review for any sensitivity tag that permits shared content and guest access. For example, set a custom start date and review recurrence so owners of teams or groups with higher sensitivity review the external sharing links and guest access more often.
