Public groups report

Updated today

The Public groups report is a ShareGate Protect report that provides a list of all public groups in the tenant, along with some key details about each one.

Note: When a Microsoft 365 group is made public, the Everyone except external users (EEEU) built-in security group is added to its membership, allowing access to everyone within the organization. The EEEU security group can also be added to a non-public Microsoft 365 group. To learn how the assessment can help you identify these groups, see Workspaces with EEEU access report.

  1. Select Reporting in the ShareGate Protect sidebar menu.
