The Workspace with EEEU report is a ShareGate Protect report that provides a list of all the workspaces with EEEU access, along with some key details about each one.
Note: The EEEU built-in security group is added by default to Microsoft 365 groups that are made public. To learn more about public groups in the assessment, see Public groups report.
Accessing the Workspaces with EEEU access report
To access the Workspaces with EEEU access report:
Select Reporting in the ShareGate Protect sidebar menu.
Click on the Workspaces with EEEU access box.
This report identifies SharePoint site collections linked to Microsoft 365 workspaces that have the EEEU security group added as a member.
Note: The assessment only looks for EEEU access at the site collection level. For example, it will not report on the EEEU security group on a library or document with custom permissions.
EEEU Access report
The report displays:
The total number of Microsoft 365 workspaces with EEEU access.
The Display name.
The Associated workloads.
The Privacy setting of the associated Microsoft 365 group.
The EEEU access level of the SharePoint site collection.
The Content size of the associated SharePoint site collection.
The URL of the associated SharePoint site collection.
EEEU permission levels
EEEU groups can have the following permission levels, which you can filter and see in your report:
Permission levels | Descriptions |
Full control | Grants complete access to the site settings, content, and admin features. |
Edit | Allows users to add, edit, and delete lists, libraries, and their content. |
Read | Allows users to view items on the site. |
To filter your permission levels in the report, click the EEEU permission level filter at the top of the results and select the levels you want to find.
