Symptoms
When performing a migration, ShareGate Migrate displays the following warning:
Workflow tasks are not supported.

Details
Unfortunately, ShareGate Migrate is unable to migrate workflow tasks. The reason for this is that SharePoint does not offer any services to re-associate the workflow tasks with running instances of workflows. This means that the tasks could be migrated, but they would no longer be attached to any workflow. So completing the tasks would not update the workflows, and the results would be confusing. To prevent this, ShareGate Migrate simply does not migrate the workflow tasks.
Solution
Depending on the actions that your workflow actually performs, here are the 2 recommended approaches to deal with running workflows and their tasks:
Wait for the workflows to be completed before your migration and make sure no new workflow is started before you finish your migration. This will make sure that there are no pending workflow tasks, so they should not need to be migrated any more.
Ignore the work that was already performed by workflows that are currently running and instead restart them at the destination after your migration. This will re-create the workflow tasks at the destination.
