Import chat user mappings from a file with PowerShell

Note: PowerShell integration requires a ShareGate Migrate Pro or Enterprise subscription. It is not available on the Essentials plan.

Import-UserMappings

Description

Import-UserMappings imports chat user mappings from a CSV file, typically one created with Export-UserMappings.

Examples

Import chat user mappings from a file

$filePath = "c:\ChatUserMappingsToImport.csv"
$sourceConnection = Connect-MicrosoftOnline -CopyFeature ChatCopy
$destinationConnection = Connect-MicrosoftOnline -CopyFeature ChatCopy
Import-UserMappings -SourceConnection $sourceConnection -DestinationConnection $destinationConnection -Path $filePath

Import chat user mappings from the Export-UserMappings result

$filePath = "c:\ChatUserMappingsToImport.csv"
