Symptoms
You receive a workspace invitation email, and when you create your ShareGate account, you get an error stating your email is blocked or is not a business email address.
This issue commonly occurs when a user registers with a name that contains special characters, such as an underscore (_).
Solution
Avoid using special characters like an underscore when entering your name to create a ShareGate account.
If the problem persists after you retry, contact ShareGate's technical support with the email address associated with your invitation.
