Symptoms

When attempting to connect to your destination SharePoint environment, ShareGate Migrate displays the following error message:

This specific tool only supports SharePoint 2010 and above as destination.

Error code

  • ST-005-032

Details

Copy structure and content is designed to migrate content from a source environment to a destination environment.

The following cannot be used as the destination with the Copy Structure and content feature.

  • SharePoint 2003 (or Windows SharePoint Services 2.0)

  • SharePoint 2007 (or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0)

  • Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)

  • Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS)

Solution

To bypass this issue you can manually create the structure (lists, etc.) and then use the Copy content only tool to migrate all documents and list items to their respective new lists.
