Solution

If the corruption was simply with the operation that was in progress, retrying might resolve the issue. If the issue persist, here are the options:

  1. If you don't need to preserve the migration reports for all the operations that you have performed in the past with ShareGate Migrate, you can close ShareGate Migrate, delete the file at " C:\Users\AppData\Local\Sharegate\Sharegate.Reporting.vdb5" and then reopen ShareGate Migrate.

  2. If you do need to preserve the values, you can contact our technical support team and we will give you instructions to send us your reporting file. As a temporary solution to continue working with ShareGate Migrate while not losing your past migration reports, you can close ShareGate Migrate, rename the file at "C:\Users\AppData\Local\Sharegate\Sharegate.Reporting.vdb5" and then reopen the app.
