Symptoms

When attempting to migrate an Image modern web part, the following message is displayed:

Cannot find the list or library ‘ImageDoc’ associated to the modern web part ‘Image web part' at the destination.

  • WP-031-006

Details

This error can occur in the following scenarios:

  • You are migrating the Image modern web part as part of a content migration.

  • If the image file used as a reference in the web part is located in a list that does not exist at the destination of your migration.

  • You are migrating an Image Gallery type web part and one of the images comes from a OneDrive.

This error is triggered when Sharegate is unable to find the Document Library that contains the image file referenced within the Web Part in your destination environment. When migrating content, Sharegate will not copy lists as dependencies to the Web Parts.

Solution

Before beginning your next migration, ensure that the source Document Library where the referenced image file used in the web part file is located also exists in your destination. The destination Document Library should have the same name as the one in the source, and the referenced file should be located in the same path.
