When trying to connect to SharePoint, ShareGate Migrate displays the following error:

Proxy authentication is required in order to connect to your SharePoint site. Please specify the proxy information under "Advanced authentication".

This error occurs when you are using a proxy to connect to SharePoint and the proxy asks for credentials, but those credentials were not set in ShareGate Migrate.

Expand the Proxy section to specify the proxy settings, including the credentials to use.

Note: Ensure that ShareGate Migrate is included in your allowlist before proceeding to use a proxy server or any device that might be interrupt server traffic.
