You notice that your folder versions are different at the destination after a migration.

ShareGate Migrate can only copy the last version of a folder. This can cause your destination folder to have a different version than your source.

Folders do not get the same properties as items in SharePoint, and version history is rarely used for folders.

It is impossible to manage folder versions directly in SharePoint. You can only see your version history, revert to an old version, and more with with custom SharePoint scripts.
