Information barriers are Microsoft 365 policies that help to block two-way interactions between groups and users.

Information barriers are not supported by ShareGate Migrate. They can cause connection issues to OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.

If information barriers are causing connection issues to your environment, we suggest you turn off the feature before your migration.

Disconnect and reconnect to your site or tenant in the ShareGate Explorer to refresh the connection if you still have issues after turning information barriers off.
