ShareGate Home is your space to access and update your account and workspace.
My account
To access your account, click on your profile picture or initials in ShareGate home.
You can access and update your personal information, including:
Name - Select Edit to change the first or last name associated with your ShareGate account.
Business email address - Shows the email address used to log in and receive communications from ShareGate.
Password - Select Change password to change your ShareGate account's password.
Two-factor authentication - Select Configure, then Add two-factor to configure two-factor authentication.
Linked Account - Select Link my tenant to link a Microsoft tenant to your ShareGate account.
Phone number - Select Edit to update the phone number associated with your ShareGate account.
Theme - Use the drop-down menu to select a Light or Dark theme for ShareGate Home and ShareGate Protect.
Delete your ShareGate account or change your business email address
To delete your ShareGate account or to modify your email address, send a request to our technical support team.
Tip: Provide the email address associated with your ShareGate account for a faster resolution.
Workspace
To access the Workspace page, click on your workspace's name in ShareGate Home and select Workspace settings from the dropdown menu.
Details - Find the Workspace name and Workspace ID. Only a workspace owner can change it.
Machine activations - The machine activations for ShareGate Migrate that are assigned to you. You can click on the trashcan icon to deactivate your machine, freeing the activation for another machine or user. Machine activations are limited, and you might need to contact your workspace owner to get one.
Members (only available to workspace owners)
To access the Members page, click on your workspace's name in ShareGate Home and select Members from the dropdown menu.
On the page, you can find a list of all the members of your workspace with the following information about them:
Name - The name of the member.
Role - If the member is an Owner or Contributor with limited access to the workspace.
Product access - Lists the ShareGate products that the member has access to.
Joined - The date the member joined the workspace.
Activations assigned - The number of ShareGate Migrate activations assigned to the member. The table shows the number of activated and unused activations.
Three dotted menu - Click on these dots to modify a member's settings, as explained below.
Member settings
You have several options available when you click the three-dotted menu for a member of your workspace.
You can revoke your user's product access or remove them from your workspace to revoke access and remove them from your workspace.
When you select Manage member from the dropdown, you get the following options:
Role - Assign your member as a Workspace owner or contributor. A contributor has no control over workspace management or access to products.
Product access - Toggle access to Migrate or Protect on or off.
Migrate activations - You can assign activations if you enable Migrate for your member. The number of activations you can assign depends on your subscription.
Activate an offline machine - Click on this link to start the process of activating ShareGate Migrate on an offline machine.
Subscription (only available to workspace owners)
The subscription page lists all your active and expired ShareGate subscriptions. ShareGate subscriptions operate on a 12-month renewal cycle, starting from the date of activation, which aligns with the date of your initial license purchase.
You can have multiple subscriptions in your ShareGate account.
You can click Modify plan to manage and update your subscription.
A ShareGate subscription grants access to ShareGate based on your yearly subscription package. These plans are designed to provide unlimited access for all tenants you own, ensuring flexibility and scalability for your business.
Migrate Essentials gives you one Machine activation for ShareGate Migrate.
Migrate Pro gives you 5 Machine activations, Mailbox migration, Google Workspace migration, and Microsoft Purview sensitivity label migration support.
Migrate Enterprise provides 25 or more Machine activations and all the benefits of Migrate Pro.
ShareGate Protect provides you with access to our Microsoft 365 Governance risk assessment.
