Microsoft retired several legacy SharePoint services from Microsoft 365 on April 2, 2026, including the SharePoint Workflow Engine and the SharePoint Add-in model.
As a result:
Nintex Workflows stopped working.
Nintex Forms in Classic or Old Responsive formats stopped working.
SharePoint 2013 workflows stopped working.
On-premises SharePoint servers are not affected by this change.
If you are running legacy workflows and forms in an on-premises SharePoint environment, they continue to work as expected, but you can't migrate them to a Microsoft 365 destination.
What this means for your ShareGate migration
Since the services they rely on are retired, these elements (Nintex Workflows, Nintex Forms, and SharePoint 2013 workflows) no longer work, and ShareGate Migrate no longer supports migrating them to or from Microsoft 365. See Nintex New Responsive Forms and Nintex migration support for more details.
