The Copilot Readiness Assessment crawls your tenant, collecting data about site collections that have containers (subsites, lists, and libraries) with broken permissions inheritance, which might have unique permissions. It also provides guidance on how these permissions can affect Microsoft Copilot.

The Site collections with broken inheritance page displays SharePoint site collections that contain site objects with broken permissions inheritance.
The page displays:
The percentage of site collections with an object breaking permission inheritance.
The potential risks of having these unique permissions.
Suggestions to mitigate the potential risks.
A report of all the site collections that contain objects (containers) with broken inheritance.
How to access the report
To access the Site collections with broken inheritance report, select the Oversharing tab and click on the Site collections have broken inheritance key point.
You can also find the report by selecting the matching key point in the Overview tab.
Review the containers (site objects) with broken inheritance
Click on any site collection name to review its containers with broken inheritance in the Site collection details page.
From that page, you can review your containers' names and type and access them through their URLs.
