Required Google permissions to use Copy from Gmail

The Google Workspace permissions you must consent to for Copy from Gmail

ShareGate Migrate needs access to specific resources from Google Workspace to work correctly.

To obtain this access, you must consent to a set of Permissions when you connect to your Google Workspace for the first time with Copy from Gmail.

Permissions

  • View your email messages and settings

  • See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files

  • View customer-related information

  • View calendar resources on your domain

  • View domains related to your customers

  • View groups on your domain

  • See info about users on your domain

  • View and edit events on all your calendars

  • See and download any calendar you can access using your Google Calendar

  • See your primary Google Account email address

  • Associate you with your personal info on Google

Usage

Security and privacy are a priority for ShareGate, and the app will only use these permissions in your Google Workspace to migrate your content to Microsoft 365.
