Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Copilot Readiness Assessment crawls your tenant and collects data about workspaces with shareable links, and provides guidance for understanding how sharing can affect Microsoft Copilot.

Accessing shareable link details

To access sharing details, do one of the following:

  • From the Overview tab, find the links can be accessed by anyone key point and click Review workspace.

  • From the Data security tab, click the "Anyone" links data point.

Shared access overview

The Workspaces with shared access page displays the workspaces with Anyone links and provides information about how this setting may affect Copilot.

The Copilot Readiness Assessment provides details about shareable links for Teams, Groups, and OneDrive for Business workspaces. SharePoint sites that are not connected to Microsoft 365 groups and Teams private and shared channels are not included in shared access details.

  • The percentage of links that are Anyone links.

  • The potential risks of Anyone links.

  • Suggested actions you can take to mitigate the potential risks of Anyone links.

The report displays:

  • The workspace Name.

  • The workspace Owner or number of owners.

  • The number of Anyone links in the workspace.

  • The number of External people links in the workspace.

  • The number of Guests in the workspace.

Click Export to save the report as a CSV file. The CSV file includes the following columns:

  • Workspace URL

  • Workspace ID

  • Created At (Date [DD-MM-YYYY] + time)
