ShareGate allows you to use your own Azure storage, so you can keep your archived items in the data center of your choice.

When you create your Azure storage account for use with ShareGate Protect, you must provide the account Access keys.

Details

A shared access signature provides delegated and customizable access to resources in your storage Azure account.

At this time, ShareGate is not compatible with shared access signatures.

The Azure storage account Access keys provide ShareGate with a secure method for archiving your team and group contents.
