Sharegate displays the following error while deleting a list :

This list cannot be deleted. This might happen if this list contains an item on hold or declared as a record.

SharePoint does not allow the deletion of lists in some conditions.

If you are trying to delete a list containing at least one element declared as a record, you must undeclare all the items that are declared as records before deleting the list that contains them.
