The migration of discussion list forms is not yet supported. Each SharePoint version has different forms with parameters that might not be available in another version. The migration might break the form and you won't be able to retrieve the original one. To prevent this, all custom and basic forms won't be copied. All forms from the discussion list at the destination will still be available.
