The following table summarizes the administrative permissions you need to perform actions in ShareGate Migrate Explorer and run reports.

* Site collection admin permissions are required even if you have a higher permission level like SharePoint admin. While you might be able to run some reports and other actions without site collection admin permissions, it is not supported as it can cause unexpected errors.
