When creating a ShareGate Home account, you must verify your email address by clicking a validation link in an automated email from ShareGate.
If your organization uses a greylisting service such as Mimecast to defend its users against spam, you may receive our email after the validation link has expired or not receive the email at all.
Details
Greylisting is a form of email defense to protect users against spam. Greylisting services work by temporarily rejecting any emails coming from an unknown sender. After a delay, the email will appear in your inbox.
Note: The validation link in ShareGate's automated email expires 24 hours after it's sent.
Solution
Ask your organization's IT team to add sharegate.com
to their Safe Senders list and whitelist the domain for any greylisting or anti-spam services they use.
When you can successfully receive emails from sharegate.com
, retry the ShareGate Home account verification process.
